I am a Communications Graduate. I am a Creator.
I’m Angela Luedeke, a Communications graduate, healthcare professional, and lifelong learner passionate about the intersection of communication, healthcare, and technology. I recently completed my Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Cincinnati, graduating with a 3.75 GPA while working full-time throughout my degree.
With over two decades of leadership experience in the retail and pharmacy industries, I bring a strong foundation in customer relationship management, healthcare communication, and operational excellence. My career began at Walgreens, where I served as a Certified Assistant Store Manager, leading multimillion-dollar revenue stores, enhancing customer experiences, and supporting national development initiatives.
Currently, I serve as a Pharmacy Technician at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where I manage discharge medication processes, sterile compounding, billing, and inventory optimization using EPIC Willow and BD Logistics systems. In addition, I recently completed a professional internship with the Division of Pharmacy at Cincinnati Children’s, gaining valuable experience in pharmacy data analytics, healthcare operations, and communications project development.
Throughout my journey, I have balanced a full-time workload, a full course load, and professional development initiatives, demonstrating strong time management, resilience, and commitment to growth. I also founded and led an employee engagement committee at Cincinnati Children’s, further cultivating collaboration and a culture of excellence.
Beyond my professional work, I am passionate about creativity and continuous learning. I hold certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED and have expanded my skillset into web design, SEO, and graphic design, successfully applying these skills to fundraising and communications projects. I am also a committed volunteer, supporting United Way campaigns and pediatric oncology camps.
Outside of work and school, I am a travel enthusiast and a student of German and Japanese languages. My journey is fueled by curiosity, creativity, and a drive to make meaningful impacts at the crossroads of healthcare, technology, and communication.
